This beautiful large bowl is handmade by a skilled ceramist in China. It is decorated with a traditional blue and white flower motif that originated from Britain in the early 18th century. In ancient China, noble families used similar bowls to protect their pond goldfish from the freezing winter weather. Nowadays, you can use this bowl as a cachepot to provide your plants with a highly decorative place to grow.
The planter is adorned with hand-painted village scenery and sculpted faux lion head handles throughout. The top rim is decorated with a matching floral motif border, completing the overall look. The top opening diameter is approximately 15.5 inches, making it perfect for medium-to-large house plants. You can purchase a matching wooden stand separately, which is identified by Part No.

Care
Always remember that porcelain and other types of ceramics are delicate and fragile, so careful maintenance is important. Dust can be removed with a microfiber cloth. Warm water combined with mild soap may also be used to remove smears, finger prints, and other grime. Make sure not to use hot water, as this can cause damage. You may also use a soft bristled brush to clean tiny crevices.
