Cloisonne is a traditional technique for decorating metalwork objects that has been practiced in China for centuries. This stunning cloisonne incense burner is hand made in rich dark burgundy color creating an elegant backdrop for the colorful flower motif; which is created by using the Cloisonne technique of bending the golden wire to form the elegant flower petal and leaf shapes. Topped with hand forged imperial dragon design lid, symbolizing strength, power, and good luck. Entire incense burned is raised on a hand forged three-legged brass lion head stand to balance out the beauty of the piece, making it a stunning work of art. Completely hand forged by artisans in China, this one of a kind burner makes for a great showpiece wherever it is placed.
Care
If possible, always keep bronze and similar metal materials in ventilated areas away from excessive heat or humidity. For regular cleaning, use a damp microfiber cloth making sure to remove any excess water or moisture left behind. For crevices and areas that are tough to get to, use a soft bristled brush.
It is natural for a greenish patina to develop on bronze over time. This is a result of a natural oxidation process as the bronze is exposed to the environment. Occasional application (1-2 times per year) of WD-40 can help prolong this process.
