Description
Rattan is a species of palm native to the tropical regions of Asia, Indonesia, and Africa. Very similar to bamboo, rattan is very sturdy yet malleable and can be bent into unique shapes. This stool is built with spiraling forms to give it a unique look as well as a strong structure. The stool is completed with soft cushion seat, featured intricate floral motif embroidery.
Care
Proper care can guarantee that the finish will last a long time. The lacquer used for oriental wood furniture and decor is a durable finish that is generally low maintenance. Regular dusting with a slightly damp microfiber cloth will help keep it clean. Make sure the cloth is clean before using, as foreign particles may cause scratching on the surface. It is also recommended to use the microfiber cloth to avoid scratching of the surface and to buff out smears and smudges. If using a damp cloth, always make sure to remove any excess water left behind, as this can damage the finish.
Avoid placement in direct exposure to the sun for prolonged periods of time. Sunlight can cause damage and fading over time.
The upholstery can be cleaned with a vacuum.
