This pair is hand carved of precious lime green and red jade stone. The texture and fine details bring each piece to life. The heads are especially pronounced, with lively facial expressions. Care
Never clean jade with abrasive cleaners or solutions, they likely contain chemicals that can cause harm. Regular cleaning can be done with a dry or damp microfiber cloth. Use a mild soap for especially grimy areas, and also use a soft bristled brush for hard to reach areas. Never fully immerse the jade in water, this is unnecessary. If cleaning with water, make sure to remove any excess moisture left behind. Handling the jade and touching it can actually be beneficial. The oil from skin is good for jade and can help to increase its luster.
Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun as this can alter the color of the jade. Also prevent the jade from forcefully bumping into hard surfaces, this can damage the interior structure.
