Silk embroidery is a Chinese art form with origins dating back thousands of years. With each piece containing thousands of tiny threads, a composition requires an extremely high level of skill to create. The reflective nature of the silk thread allows the vibrant colors to stand out beautifully in the light. This set of two embroideries features images reminiscent of Mandarin squares from the Qing dynasty. During that era, pictures would be embroidered on the robes of nobles and officials. Specific birds and animals were used to represent their according rank. The kirin and crane represented the highest rank for the military and scholars respectively. Each embroidery comes in a museum quality shadow box that accentuates the beauty of the silk threads. This set will make a statement wherever it is displayed.
Care
For wooden frames, regular dusting may be done with a feather duster or slightly damp microfiber cloth. If using a damp cloth, be sure to remove any excess moisture left behind. For the glass, never use any type of abrasive cleaners or cloths for cleaning, as these can leave scratches. A slightly damp microfiber cloth is sufficient for removing dust and smearing. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight for prolonged periods, as this can cause damage and fading.

Each order is carefully inspected and packaged before it leaves our warehouse to avoid damage during transit. Every shipment is fully insured at no extra cost to you.

Take an entire month to live with your purchase to decide if it's right for you. All ChinaFurnitureOnline.com orders may be returned for a 15% restocking fee up to 30 days after the order is delivered. To return an item, simply
