The noble families of ancient China used large bowls such as ours to protect their pond goldfish from the freezing cold of winter. Used today as a cachepot, it gives a large plant a highly decorative place to put down roots. This beautiful fishbowl features two narrative paintings that together, tell a dramatic bushido story, or way of the samurai. The front face depicts a group of samurai in a fierce debate, while the back painting captures three samurai donned in full armor with weapons drawn, ready for combat. Care
Always remember that porcelain and other types of ceramics are delicate and fragile, so careful maintenance is important. Dust can be removed with a microfiber cloth. Warm water combined with mild soap may also be used to remove smears, finger prints, and other grime. Make sure not to use hot water, as this can cause damage. You may also use a soft bristled brush to clean tiny crevices.
