Bodhidharma (commonly called Damo in Chinese or Daruma in Japanese) was the Buddhist monk traditionally credited as the transmitter of Chan to China. In early 5th century CE, at the age of 64, he journeyed from India to China to broaden his vision on Buddhism and subsequently relocated northwards. After years of meditation at the Shaolin Temple, Da Mo founded the philosophy of Chinese Zen Buddhism. Care
Regular cleaning can be done using a damp microfiber cloth and a soft bristle brush for harder to reach areas. When finished, be sure to remove any excess moisture left behind. If deeper cleaning is needed, combine warm water with a mild soap and use the cloth and brush to remove grime.
